General Mills US and Powster launched 4 mini games in augmented reality to promote the release of the “Trolls World Tour” movie. Users could find and scan QR codes on participating General Mills cereal packaging to unlock a Troll mini game. They could play with, save and collect the Trolls they find into their account and uncover exclusive clips from the movie.
A solid and complete user interface was needed since users were encouraged to create an account to save and replay the games. The project was also targeting young users so that entailed following specific guidelines about usage and data collection. I’ve worked on developing the proper user journey and wireframes, as well as establishing a creative art direction that’s also consistent with the movie’s branding. Made at and with Powster Studio.
